Day 1: Clear the Clutter

Start by removing clutter from common areas like the living room, dining room, and entryway. Put away items that don’t belong and organize magazines, toys, or mail. A clutter-free space instantly feels cleaner and more spacious.

  • Sort items into keep, donate, or toss piles

  • Use baskets or bins for quick organization

  • Clear surfaces like coffee tables and countertops

Day 2: Dust and Wipe Surfaces

Dust settles quickly and makes a room look dull. Dust all surfaces, including shelves, picture frames, lampshades, and baseboards. Follow up by wiping down surfaces with a damp cloth or appropriate cleaner.

  • Use microfiber cloths for effective dusting

  • Don’t forget ceiling fans and light fixtures

  • Clean window sills and blinds
